 HOW ARE BEACH GLASS BEADS MADE?

These great beads are made by the Krobo People of Ghana, Africa. Powder glass beads are made by crushing glass to a fine powder and heating it so that the particles fuse together. The glass is then poured into clay molds, with a cassava leaf stem used to make the hole. They are baked in an oven and the glass fuses and the cassava stem burns up. This technique has been used in Africa for centuries.

Pretty matte chain links with dangling baroque pearl.  Freshwater genuine cultured pearls. These baroque pearls are from 12 - 14 mm, they are all shaped differently and no two will match.  Choose burnished silver or matte gold chain.  Handmade ear wire. They are about 2" from top of chain.

This pearl lariat necklace is made with cinnamon colored freshwater pearls.   The brownish color on the black leather is a stunning contrast against black.  It wold be nice with animal prints that have black and browns.  At 50" long there are many ways to tie it.  A linked video shows how to do this but you will see the white pearls in the video.  Last phots shows how it looks wrapped multiple times on your wrist as a bracelet.  You tie and leave the ends to dangle as a tassel.
