Distinct treasured heart and chain is a pretty matte finish oxidized sterling over steel. The heart is cast from a vintage original.  It is 1 1/2" and double sided.  You can wear this shorter by connecting the lobster claw to any link.

ABOUT AFRICAN BEADS                                                                                                    These old white porcelain glass Goomba beads were found in Nigeria and have traveled at least 3 continents dating back to the 1800 and 1900s. Small chips, corrosion and pitting are the natural aged characteristics of these beautiful beads denoting their age and attests to their extensive use and wear. Originally made in Europe.

HOW ARE BEACH GLASS BEADS MADE?
These great beads are made by the People of Ghana, Africa. Powder glass beads are made by crushing glass to a fine powder and heating it so that the particles fuse together. The glass is then poured into clay molds, with a cassava leaf stem used to make the hole. They are baked in an oven and the glass fuses and the cassava stem burns up. This technique has been used in Africa for centuries.

Wear With or Without Pendants

Inspired by my vacation this casual strand of pearls is knotted cotton with a pretty sheen.  I like wearing it with raffia sandals, belts, and earrings.  The pearl length is 15" with added string that ties in the back.  This enables you to adjust the length. Add the pendants for four different looks! Approximate: Open Circle is 1.75". Heart is 1". Solid Round is 1 1/2".
